After successfully growing a building company, he has transitioned New Earth Construction Ltd to focus on delivering its own high-quality developments while also undertaking projects across the private and public sectors.
Sam is passionate about exceptional design, attention to detail, and achieving the highest standards of finish in every project. He is driven by a vision to integrate principles of a healthy, natural lifestyle into the homes he builds, prioritising sustainability, thoughtful design, and materials that enhance well-being.

Richard Simpson BSc (Hons)
Finance Director

His experience includes developing sophisticated finance structures to support international trading contracts within the global steel sector, as well as overseeing the financial and operational aspects of constructing manufacturing facilities in China.

He is responsible for financial modelling, integrated project cash flow management, and ensuring rigorous financial oversight to support the company’s growth. His strategic approach to financial planning enables effective monitoring and control of profitability and liquidity across all developments and projects.

Fleet Simpson
Operations Director
Fleet has been an integral part of New Earth Construction Ltd since its founding in 2021, playing a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget. As Operations Director, he oversees the company’s day-to-day site activities, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to the highest Health & Safety standards.
With extensive experience in site management, Fleet is responsible for coordinating and allocating New Earth Construction Ltd.’s direct labour force, managing subcontractors, and overseeing material procurement. His proactive approach ensures seamless project execution while maintaining cost control and operational efficiency.
Fleet’s strengths lie in his exceptional communication and organizational skills, allowing him to effectively manage relationships with clients, suppliers, and the workforce from project conception to completion. Joe Hourihane
Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager
Joe brings a wealth of experience in commercial construction and cost management, having worked on large-scale fit-out projects across the UK, including the prestigious W Hotel in London and multiple Genting Casino locations nationwide. His expertise spans high-end commercial developments, budgeting, and financial planning.
Since relocating to the Isle of Man in 2021, Joe has specialised in bespoke new-build homes, renovations, and extensions, as well as providing freelance estimation and project management services. His extensive industry knowledge allows him to deliver precise cost analysis and strategic financial oversight to support New Earth Construction Ltd’s continued growth.
In his role as Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager, Joe is responsible for tender submissions, final account and valuation preparations, subcontract and material procurement, and overall cost control. His meticulous approach ensures that every project is delivered efficiently, within budget, and to the highest standards.

His expertise spans all aspects of the development process, from land acquisition and planning to procurement, construction, and sales, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards.
As Projects Manager at New Earth Construction Ltd, Andy is responsible for site appraisals, planning submissions, procurement, cost management, and overseeing technical and construction operations. His meticulous attention to detail and strategic approach help maintain the company’s strong reputation for quality and financial sustainability.

Julia Shipley
Architectural Technician
As a skilled architectural technician, Julia brings a comprehensive set of abilities to enhance the construction process and ensure project success. With a strong foundation in architectural design principles and building regulations, Julia specializes in translating conceptual ideas into detailed technical drawings and plans.
Having Julia as part of our team allows New Earth to provide customers with a design and build service. This means one point of contact for the entire process from planning to completion.
Julia creates precise technical drawings using CAD software and ensuring compliance with local building codes to facilitate smooth project approvals. With strong problem-solving skills, Julia will proactively identify potential issues during the design and construction phases, providing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and quality. Additionally, through our design phase we are committed to integrating sustainable practices and materials into projects, promoting energy efficiency and reducing environmental impact.
