Who we are

New Earth Construction Ltd is a construction company registered in the Isle of Man. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

What we collect

When you contact us. If you use our contact form, email or call us, we collect what you give us: usually your name, email address, phone number and details about your project.

When you visit the site. Our hosting provider records standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit.

We don't use analytics or advertising cookies, and we don't sell personal information.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and discuss your project. Our legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
• To deliver and manage a project once we're working together. Our legal basis is performing our contract with you.
• To keep the website secure and working properly. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a reliable website.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. Our legal basis is legal obligation.

Who we share it with

We only share personal information with services that help us run the business and the website, and only as far as they need it:

• Webflow, which hosts this website and processes contact form submissions
• our email and IT providers
• professional advisers, such as our accountants, where needed

Some of these providers store data outside the Isle of Man, including in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries that don't lead to a project for up to 12 months. We keep project records for as long as we need them to meet contractual, warranty, tax and legal obligations, which is usually up to 7 years after completion.

Cookies

The site only uses essential cookies that it needs to work properly. We don't use analytics, tracking or advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Your rights

Under Isle of Man data protection law, which applies the GDPR, you have the right to:

• access the personal information we hold about you
• ask us to correct it or delete it
• object to or restrict how we use it
• ask for a copy of it in a portable format

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Isle of Man Information Commissioner (inforights.im).
